MicroHealth Nabs Multiple International Stevie Awards

Vienna, Virginia – MicroHealth LLC, a leading Information Technology company, proudly earned three BLANK Stevie Awards at the 2025 International Business Awards. Notably, these wins celebrate MicroHealth’s mission-driven innovation, its talented team, and its commitment to transforming technology in the federal industry.

The honors include:

  • Technology Team of the Year (Technology) – MicroHealth DOE Support Team (Gold)
  • Technology Department of the Year (Technology) – MicroHealth IHS Support Team (Bronze)

Technology Team of the Year (Technology) – MicroHealth DOE Support Team (Gold)

For the Department of Energy (DOE), MicroHealth earned Gold for advancing the Facilities Information Management System (FIMS). They also advanced the Condition Assessment Information System (CAIS). These tools manage data for 700+ sites and 23,000 facilities. As a result, they support smarter federal property management.

The team pioneered the government’s first real property data quality validation process. Today, the General Services Administration now recognizes it as a best practice.

Technology Department of the Year (Technology) – MicroHealth IHS Support Team (Gold)

MicroHealth’s work with the Indian Health Service (IHS) earned Bronze for revolutionizing the National Patient Information Reporting System (NPIRS). This system processes data from 1,780 locations across 500 healthcare sites and 12 regional offices, improving care for 2.6 million American Indian and Alaska Native people.

Specifically, the team rolled out real-time health dashboards and adopted agile project methods. They also built self-service reporting tools. Through these efforts, providers reduced opioid misuse incidents, improved patient outcomes, and made faster decisions.

Additionally, MicroHealth’s growth and federal health IT innovation have positioned the company as a trusted partner to some of the nation’s most critical missions.   • Improve patient care quality and safety for the Defense Health Agency’s National Capital Region by delivering clinical operations expertise, healthcare data analytics, and program management through the Clinical Operations Program Management Office.
  • Modernize the CDC’s Partner’s Portal web application for the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, enhancing performance, user experience, and long-term system maintenance for vital public health data tools.
  • Advance military medical readiness at Fort Liberty by integrating advanced systems and delivering comprehensive operator training at Medical Simulation Training Centers.
  • Implement a cloud-based electronic health record system for the National Hansen’s Disease Program, enabling coordinated leprosy treatment across twelve U.S. clinics and applying commercial health IT innovation to a rare disease mission.
