VIENNA, VIRGINIA – February 28 – MicroHealth LLC, a leading Health Information Technology company, announced today that it ranked No. 67 on its fourth annual Inc. 5000 Regionals: Mid-Atlantic list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing Mid-Atlantic private companies, based in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. This regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Mid-Atlantic economy’s most dynamic segment–its independent small businesses.
The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Mid-Atlantic region. Between 2019 and 2021, these 141 private companies had an average growth rate of 381 percent and, in 2021 alone, they added 14,439 jobs and $2.66 billion to the Mid-Atlantic region’s economy.
“Before the pandemic, we strategically placed ourselves in the middle of the health IT wave, seeing the technology as the new standard for government agencies to provide better services,” said MicroHealth’s CEO Dr. Frank Tucker. “One of the lessons learned from the long quarantine and front-line medical battle was the necessity for remote medical services and patient access to their accurate medical records, especially when moving between providers.”

To qualify the 2023 list, U.S,-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent companies must have generated a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2019 and a minimum of $1million in 2021. Qualifying companies are then ranked according to percentage revenue growth over the 2019 to 2021 period.
