The list provides a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—independent small businesses.
The 2016 Inc. 5000 List, unveiled online at Inc.com, is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. Each company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth rate of 433%. The combined revenue for the 5,000 companies on Inc.’s annual list is $200 billion with 640,000 jobs generated collectively in the preceding three years, which is 8% of all jobs created in the U.S. during that period.
