Vienna, Virginia – MicroHealth LLC, a leading Information Technology company, is proud to announce that two of its project teams have been named winners of the GOVTECH CONNECTS Accelerate 2025 Awards. This recognition honors programs using AI and data solutions to deliver meaningful results for federal agencies and their communities.
Driving Better Decisions at the Department of Energy
MicroHealth’s Department of Energy (DOE) team earned recognition for its groundbreaking work managing property data in the Facilities Information Management System (FIMS) and the Condition Assessment Information System (CAIS). Together, these systems centralize information for more than 700 DOE sites and 23,000 facilities. This enables smarter decisions for maintaining and upgrading DOE’s extensive property portfolio.
In addition, the General Services Administration now recognizes the team’s real property data quality validation process as a best practice. It’s also recognized as the gold standard by the Office of Management and Budget. By consistently exceeding performance targets, this team exemplifies the kind of innovation and reliability needed in federal IT modernization.
Transforming Healthcare Data into Community Impact
Likewise, MicroHealth’s Indian Health Service (IHS) team was also honored for its data-driven work improving healthcare access and outcomes for 2.6 million American Indian and Alaska Native people. Through support of the National Patient Information Reporting System (NPIRS), the team enhanced IHS’s data infrastructure. They processed critical health information from 1,780 locations and 500 healthcare sites. This work also supported 12 regional offices across 35 states.
Furthermore, this expanded capability has brought real-time decision-making to the forefront of IHS operations. The team introduced self-service reporting tools that democratize data access, empowering providers and administrators to make faster, informed choices. These innovations, including real-time surveillance dashboards and agile development practices, have helped reduce substance misuse incidents and strengthen care delivery across Native communities.
